Job Summary

As a Driver, you will be representing a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler by providing precision and excellent customer service in your daily task of making deliveries to our customers within the Cape Girardeau, MO; Poplar Bluff, MO; and Marion, IL areas.

We are looking for a motivated, career-minded individual to help us provide our customers with the quality products they need. There will also be some limited warehouse duties (filling order, stocking inventory, etc.). Driving/delivery approximately 80% of the job, and warehouse duties approximately 20% of the job.

Essential Functions

• Transport products efficiently and effectively (26’ Box Truck)
• Load and unload truck
• Deliver orders to customers with outstanding accuracy and exceptional customer service

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive products from vendor
• Check shipping documents ensuring correct quantity of cartons
• Inventory products and stock in assigned warehouse location
• Process orders for customers and package for pick up or delivery
• Accurately fill customers' orders and efficiently package items
• Maintain warehouse appearance by loading and unloading shipments neatly

Experience & Qualifications

• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class C with Hazmat endorsement required, or willingness and ability to obtain a CDL Class C with Hazmat endorsement
• Previous driving or delivery experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pay close attention to details
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (ex: fork truck) safely, and pass yearly safety test
• Mechanical aptitude a plus
• Capable of dealing quickly to changing priorities and demands
• Ability to interpret shipping documents, packing slips, invoices, computer generated ordering and inventory documents to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work as a team or on your own, when applicable
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50-75lbs

Educational Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to temperatures that are outside the normal human comfort ranges of 72-76 degrees
• Work can involve lifting of product weighing up to 50-75 pounds
